RIP Orlando.
I grew up in South Bend where Woolridge played his college ball at Notre Dame. He then went on to be the fragile star of “my” team the Chicago Bulls until a young #23 arrived. A 6’9 athletic, muscular big man who ran and dunked, there was a time in the eyes of a 9-year old when Orlando Woolridge looked like the future of basketball. And the future is always bright.
